We believe great places tell a story that connects to the heart and brings us together. Story telling helps us understand ourselves, each other and where we are in the world. It relates to our present moment and to many other human moments. It connects to our mind and heart by calling on culture, imagination and curiosity. It speaks to us no matter what year we live in, where we are, or what language we speak. A place with a story has a different force that we can feel, be inspired by and experience its wonder. It is manifested in places that embrace art, food, culture, science, music, and social exchange in a way that connects us to ourselves and others.
We believe that in every great place there must be a great story, and that, it must manifest itself in the places we construct to bring more meaning into the lives of those who experience it. Our task is to discover, develop and share those unique and sometimes common stories with others.
We are story tellers. As global real estate developers, just as in a good story teller, we look for a story of time and place that captures meaning and inspires our workforce, visitors and residents. It must endeavor to be exactly right and worthy of their time spent. So in making place one must be disciplined enough to discover and craft a story that connects place with people, and know that, when you have mastered the story there will be a timelessness to it, that will last for generations to come.
